So, what happen yesterday?  Well, it was a pretty typical Friday really.  We met with the KMBZ radio guy around 1:00 and he gave us a proposal for getting our business on the radio.  WOOHOO!!  It is 980AM but it reaches the crowd we are going for so it's all good.  Then, Neal's cousin's over from Topeka and we went to Zarda's (barbieQ for those that don't know) and had lunch.  I had to go to work but Neal took them over to our house and showed them where they will be living once they move up from Dallas.

Recap: Neal's family was all in Topeka for the funeral.

Anyway, they loved it and can't wait to get here!  So after all that madness was over we went to Benchmark Furniture (which is completely closing their doors on 2/26) and bought a bunch of shit.  We got a whole new bedroom set, including a headboard, footboard, rails, dresser w/ mirror, 5 drawer chest, two night stands and then we got a new pillow top mattress and a bedding set, hehe.  Over all we saved like $5,000 because of their going out of business sale....that's hot!  Whenever we get it I'll post some pictures.  It's supposed to be delivered on Saturday 2/18....we'll see.

OHHHH!  And Neal finally got his Navigation unit for his truck.  I have one in my '04 Tourareg but his is way nicer.    The GM nav units are touch screen which makes it seriously faster to input the destination and it has XM and a built in MP3 player....so yeah, it's kick ass and I'm jealous, hehe.

So at work I maintain a SQL Server for an enterprise reporting group.  I got a new server last week and have been migrating ever since.  Okay, so I finally turn off all processes on the old machine yesterday before I leave and get everything set for the new server to be the primary.  Well, I get a call at 6:30 am (on a Saturday mind you) that the hotlines file did not run and send to our vendor half way across the country.  Great!  So I get up and fix it and everything is peachy....but that's why I'm up posting at 9:21 am on a Saturday.

Anyway, that's all I have.

First Time

Well, this is my first post.  Who knows if I'll even keep it going cause I haven't been very good at keep journals or anything in the past.

Let's see....what's been going on that Neal hasn't already put in his own Xanga.  We went to an appreciation deal for Prudential clients last night and had a pretty good time.  Neal made a HUGE ass out of himself with this one lady.  HAHA  We had been talking to her all night and at the end we were the only three guests left.  She starts talking about how fat she is....Neal's like, you aren't fat, you just had a baby what do you expect.  She looks at him like 'WHAT THE FUCK'  and says "I don't have any kids, I didn't just have a baby!"  OH MY GOD....it was so funny that I had to get up and walk away.  I couldn't deal with it!

So, then we go to my brothers house cause it was his b-day and he turned 26.  That makes me feel kinda old.    But that's okay, cause I'm still cute!  hehe

Anyway, that's all I have for my first post.
